is this asking too much

  1. I found a Traynor 2x15 cabinet, but its rated at 50W, now i know that it is ok to push it with an amp with more than 50w output, but i'm guessing that a 200w amp would probably melt those drivers, or do you think it would be ok? What would it take to increase the power handling of the cabinet?
     
  2. Are you sure it's a 50w and not a 500w?

    i can't imagine a 2x15 rated at 50 watts...........
     
  4. its old....mid 70's, ampeg used to make one too at 50w to match the B25
     
  5. You'll be fine as long as you're careful...just don't push it too hard.

    That's got guitar written all over it.... even if it is a 15". Look into it.
