Ok, I got a reply. He's trying to scam. He thinks because Mike Lull did some work on the bass, it warrants his price tag! He said make an offer. I told him between $200-$300. He said "Haha, bye". We need more folks to message him!

Someone might value the uniqueness of the 5 string and the fretless aspect. Add in the special (and expensive) work done by a known pro luthier and you have a pro instrument. I'd say it's worth close to what I'm asking. I'm not saying the price won't come down in the future if it doesn't sell right away. I'm just saying THAT'S NOT UP TO YOU. Now leave me alone please.
It is not uncommon for regular citizens to do craigslist deals at/in front of a police stations, to minimize potential for muggings/grab-and-run/other such behavior. Folks get nervous standing in the parking lot of a closed Arby's with $1500 cash in their hand.
Many cities are setting up "safe zones", usually in front of police stations, where folks can transact safely and not worry about some weirdo showing up at their home.It is not uncommon for regular citizens to do craigslist deals at/in front of a police stations, to minimize potential for muggings/grab-and-run/other such behavior. I just love how they get all riled up because he knows we know he's trying to scam.Message sent! I love doing this to CL clowns. It's not the first time and not the last!
Well if this was a Fender MIA you guys would probably all over this. It just proves that MIA and MIM and MIJ have very little differences in the actual craftsmanship of the bass.
