a little bit of a project for me: i thought i'd try replacing the fingerboard on this neck since the old one didn't feel good. it's certainly not the end of the world if it's just not worth it, but i wanted to try because i've never done it before. i used an iron and a putty knife to remove the old board. i took my time and tried to be careful, but still ended up with some roughness. here are pics, starting at the nut. i haven't cleaned the neck up at all yet.
