Is this possible?

Is it possible to have a bass with a pick up in the traditional p position (I prefer reverse p) and the traditional music man position At the same time? Or would they be too close together? Next question is would this be possible with a j Neck pick up but the music man pick up in the traditional music man sweet spot?
3rd question, does such a bass exist currently by one of the manufacturers? Most that I'm aware of have the music man pick up too close to the bridge. And if I'm not mistaken the new stingray has the bridge pickup in the correct spot but the neck pickup too close to the neck compared to a traditional p placement. Correct me if I'm wrong

I was at a gig on Friday (Arkansas Dave, awesome) and got talking to the bassist after the gig - Hi Darryl if you're on here! Anyway he had a sweet 25 year old custom built bass (I think the builder was Reynolds or something like that), with a single Bartolini pickup in the neck position, and two back near the bridge. He had one pot to blend between the neck and bridge pair, and another to blend between the fore and aft bridge pickups. He reckoned that by blending appropriately, he could get P, Jazz and Musicman tones. So yes I think it's possible, but you might have to get it made specially.
