No, it isn't possible because the Big John has parallel outputs. All you'd achieve would be a shortcut.

Only if the outputs are isolated... and IIRC, the Big John does not have isolated outputs, so no, you can't do that.
The OTHER option you have, if 18VDC is needed, is to use a "charge pump" (a.k.a., "voltage pump") adapter. Godlyke and Diago make some that will convert 9VDC to 18VDC. You could attach this to any cable coming off of the Big John to provide 18VDC for that pedal.
