Is this really a Hofner? A few things look "off" to me but I'm not up to speed on my Hofner trivia.

This sale is in my area, and I'm not interested, just curious. I don't know the seller at all. Just hoping I can learn something.

Never seen a Hofner with the logo on a oval, never seen a Hofner with bolt-on neck.

I've seen that logo used in old Hofner advertising, but never on a guitar or bass as a logo. But I'm far from a Hofner expert.
