Is this sound good for funky music ?

Sounds great to me tone-wise, but your timing seems a bit shaky and inconsistent in places. In order to sound really funky, your timing has to be rock solid. Don't worry, though, practice makes perfect.

yeah i need to practice my timing i need more experience i started before 1.3 years ago So i will practice till i make my timing perfect btw i need new strings ^^

dude i think i could get better tone buying new strings i am using la bella strings they have dirt on em a bit they seem to have good tone i will probably soak them with denatured alcohol and keep em

thanks fred btw as i heard from my record i don't have any mute problems i think thats a big step

you gotta try it and see, but i usually exaggerate the high end in my tone on recordings. once you add guitars and keyboards and cymbals to the mix, your bass will lose ground in those frequencies and you won't cut through as much. the tone you've got sounds great, but once you put it in the mix you may need to play around to get it to sound the way is does now.

I'd say boost around 200 hz to give your tone a lil more balls.
