Is this String Swing strong enough to hold a bass?

I just got one of these (String Swing CC03RL Right or Left Facing Guitar Keeper for Flat Wall Mount), hoping to use it to hang my Eastwood EUB1 at a bit of an angle:

One of the commenters is of the opinion that s/he wouldn't trust it for a heavy guitar like a Les Paul or for a bass. What do you think? Would you trust it?

Thanks for pointing that out! I hadn't noticed! I think if I hang it on a stud, it will probably be okay.

String Swing answered me. They say: "The weight capacity for our hangers is 15 pounds using the provided drywall anchors or 50 pounds mounted directly into a stud."
