Is this worth it?

I would say all you need is some feeler gauges and a 6" scale (machinists rule). The under-string radius gauge in the Stewmac kit isn't necessary IMO and the straightedge is only useful if you have other tools to level uneven frets...something I would leave to a pro. YMMV

so i found this kit looking on stewmacs website. and was wondering if its worth it? i'm kind of anal about set ups, always have been.

No.

The radius gauges are a waste of time & money, and you already have straightedges in your tensioned strings. I have the string height gauge, and use it whenever I do a setup.
