Isn't it time?

I could do with some ice cream, nice and warm here for once (18C (~65F), not toasty, but certainly nicer than most of what we've had!)!

I'm of the opinion that ice cream is great no matter what the weather. We're a two ice-cream maker house, but also enjoy going out for it too. And I also appreciate well made gelato.

Some of this please!

Old fashioned banana split please with the pineapple sauce ( a lot of places in Cali don't have it for "health" reasons I was told ... huh?? )

They don't have the split or the pineapple? That's crazy talk. We happened to be at our favorite local ice cream establishment on Saturday, having a quick pre-dinner scoop or three and the person at the next window over was having a banana split that looked fantastic.

Oooooh man I remember thrifty ice cream!! They have a killer coffee ice cream too. Not around in my neck of the woods any more. They down south still?

@ Burning , the pineapple sauce. They use caramel now where I live. For me, that's a poor substitute...

All the Thrifty's around here closed, but Ive found they still have Thrifty's ice cream stands inside a lot of Rite Aids.

Again, this makes no sense. I've had enough governmental meddling in ice cream service. Give me ice cream or give me death.
