I have one on one of my 5s as well.
I really like this bridge, and it has been nothing short of perfect for me.
String height adjustments are easy, without tools, and I have adjusted the intonation exactly once in the far too many years since it was installed (over 10).

The thing that irritates me about the height adjustment is I can't get it dead-on fine tuned. You're limited by half turns, and it always seems like the perfect height for some of the strings is somewhere in between those half turns. But I hardly ever use it anymore, and it's had the same set of strings on it for years, so I don't sweat it so much.

You bass builders always impress me. It's very cool to be able to do all sots of mods like that. Anyway, I'm not a fan of the body shape but the headstock is pretty cool. I think you should name it, Mr. Douglass.
