Oh yeah there is this great free app that lets you isolate any instrument from any MP3s so you dont need the master stems...you can even hold it up to a radio and get it to isolate the bassline. The app is called...oh wait I just made that up.

If You can take a finished stereo track and pull out an isolated bass track, you'll never have to work another day in your life.

When I mentioned Isolated, I was referring to a Clean track (as if you had access to the multitracks) rather than a track that is loaded with artifacts after the isolation process.
