Isolated ground outlets???

I've got to add some outlets in my basement to plug all our amps, mixers and recording computer into.
I've got quite a bit of noise down there, probably CFLs, tubes, and a house full of iPhone chargers, etc...
Is there any benefit to installing isolated ground outlets? Will it quiet some of that noise if the amps are plugged into them?

Yeah, I know it won't be a detriment, but will it actually help the noise issues?
I'm not entirely clear on the physics involved, but my understanding is that the dedicated ground wire shielded from the conduit protects it from EMI.
Now, will plugging my amp into that outlet help keep that EMI out of my front end?
I guess it's just a matter of pulling one more wire, so why not give it a try?

Yes, if you can afford it, go with the IGO. The purpose is to reduce noise. Any radiated noise can be picked up by the amp. Power line noise can also get into the amp. Anything that you can do to mitigate these issues can help.

Also, have any fluorescent lights and dimmers removed. They can cause serious noise problems. Distance helps with charges, routers, etc.

Dimmers are usually the worst culprit, and unfortunately the noise signal from these can spread very far in your electrical wiring.
