ISP Beta Bass DSP (regular, OR dave ellefson)

If it debuted at NAMM 2019 I'd be surprised if there were more than a handful of them out there at this point.

There is a blue, 'regular' beta bass DSP that looks like it's the same as the dave ellefson one. It's been out for awhile now.

I've been using a VT bass deluxe for years and its starting to crap out and I'm looking for a real nice preamp.

I'm just surprised ISP wouldn't have like demos, or sound clips, or SOMETHING. it's not even all that obvious what all it does.

I have been using one (Standard ISP Beta Bass, not new the Dave Ellefson model) as my main preamp for the past 2-3 years or so. It is utterly amazing! I have no idea why there is such a lack of info on TB or anywhere else about these.

I've owned all manner of preamp from Eden, SansAmp, Ampeg, MXR, PreSonus, but this is hands down my favorite.

Every individual piece of this preamp (4-band EQ, Compressor, Exciter, Noise Gate and Distortion) is exceptional in tone & functionality. It's a true piece of studio grade gear.

The Ellefson DSP model is pretty new (2019 Winter NAMM debut) - probably not going to see many demos or feedback on it yet. From what I've read, it's kinda like the Beta Bass but with added effects. DSP effects are really my high on my must have list, but if the core is the same as the original Beta Bass, it's gonna be pretty righteous.
