Hi everyone, and anyone who owns/has owned this pedal; I just got mine from a store in New Jersey (Prymaxevintage), through eBay (I'm in Toronto). I was playing with it for maybe an hour when the sound started to fade out and crackle. I changed the batteries, same thing. Is this pedal just a battery sucker or what? I did contact both the stores and Paul Crowther himself, and I'm just waiting on their input, but I figured I might as well get some perspective from you guys around here too.

i would try it with an adapter, instead... but i don't think that pedal should eat batteries that quickly, sounds kinda weird.
i had one for years, but always ran it off a power supply, so i have no battery experience.

I don't recall it chewing through the batteries that quickly. Paul will look after you. If i recall correctly he includes his personal phone number inside the casa for situations such as this. Patience
