That's interesting, I'm only really familiar with the track above, I had no idea what he did before that. One can only wonder, how Genesis would have evolved if Sylvester had taken Gabriel's place...

From what I remember, they were more of a funk band. But, Genesis thoroughly blew everybody's mind that it was not easy to remember what preceded them at that show.

I've been trying to find this song for years! I remembered the "7-6-5-4-3-2-1" part, but I thought they were singing "Go get 'em!" instead of "Go get up!"

I never knew the actual name of the song or the band until now.

I never knew the actual name of the song or the band until now.

Oddly enough, it's a rearrangement of a Blue Mink song called "Get Up" . I still like the Gary Toms version far better.
