It's interesting how much better this music is without Richard Burton talking all over it. No wonder this version of the soundtrack did better than the original.![]()
Could well be. I've had it rolling on repeat in the (good) earphones for a while now, and there are a few places where it does sound like there's some synth doubling on top of the bass. Still some nice, growly bass down there though, that would have been really hard to fake in the '70s. That's the "good stuff."Herbie Flowers on bass... probably dubbed with synth.
