Kind of like the only time I saw Buddy Rich and his band was in the pavilion on Main Street at Disneyland in the mid '80s.
Which reminds me that I saw The Association at Cedar Point in the late '60s.

Also, saw KC and the Sunshine Band at Knot's Berry Farm as well as a smokin’ show of Tina Turner at a Broadcast Design Association trade show (PROMAXBDA) on the pier in Chicago.

My brother saw Kool & the Gang at the California State Fair in Sacramento around the time of their "Wild and Peaceful" album.
