I wont even let my fellow band members touch my instruments (which is different for me cause I play 6), its normal. Dem non-musical folk just don't understand the mathematical understandings behind the sciences which make the sound waves which come out of any instrument which sometimes sounds like music. Everyone who doesn't play music in my old school thought that playing the guitar was a "joke" and "Anyone could play it". That is why I got an A+ for performance they got B's, C's and D's. Until they feel our hopes, fears and dreams they will never understand!!!

YUP!! I got the same when I had my L2, and still get it when I whip out the Hohner B2AV.....
I think some people missed the 80s entirely..
That's what that is! There's one that's been sitting in the store behind some amps, and I always thought maybe they were working on it. Now, if you don't mind me asking, how do you tune it?
And yes, I did miss the 80s. Hard to enjoy them when you're not even conceived yet
There are individual knobs on the rear of the bridge that pull the string into tune. Like this: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Once you get used to it, it's great! I rarely ever have to re-tune the thing!
If you can get it for a decent price, I recommend picking it up. They are fun little machines to keep around.

I started playing classical--I got asked why the nails on one hand were so long and the other so short.

Well you definitely can, but touching a soft thing like that might be the direct cause of your face being in the trajectory of an hard thing going quite fast. Truly the universe works in mysterious ways, that's chaos theory right there.
