I think your tone is fine. In fact, I think it sounds good. The house had the keys and drums mixed higher than you and the 6 string. Your tone would cut yet blend well with everyone else. Not much you can do when the house mixes you like crap. This is where it pays to have friends in the crowd go up to the sound board guy and tell him they can't hear the bass/guitar/obo/whatever. Not that he will listen, but it's about the only thing you can do if he's provided by the venue/festival.

Can't really tell without actually being there. It's possible though. Your bass sounds like it has some overdrive on it. Some overdrive pedals like to suck the lows out.

well the head is a GK backline 600 through a marshall 810, DIed
bass runs through a bass overdrive and a preamp-DI ( behringer's )
I'm not saying a word about keygirl

It could've been my fault if it was true, when setting up, i just messed with the mid knobs and the master volume, bass and treble was already dialed through my pedals.

We got a bar gig tomorrow... or today (it's 4:20 am now lol) so i'll try adding a bit more bass...

Oh btw, you seen that line6 amp behind guitarvocals? I have the luxury of overpowering my guitar by 6 to 1

Well the problem DEFINITELY isn't that Marshall VBC810...that's a pretty rare cab, usually special order anywhere you try to get one...the cab alone sells for nearly two grand. I'm quite sure it can take whatever bottom you feed it. Truly an amazing, solid, mid-heavy cab that cuts through the mix.

The couple of notes you played before the tune started had a lot of bottom and top with little mids, and thus disappeared in the mix. Part of that may have been the recording, as when the band starts the tone goes from warm to thin.

I hate playing outdoors, your sound just dissipates. very hard to get good sound and mix in my experience.
