I've had a string of bad FedEx experiences lately but nothing like this

Within the past two weeks, I've had a FedEx shipment delivered to the house down the street and another shipment (a sweet Subway cab) totally screwed up for several days (details too complicated to get into). Still, it was not as bad as this, where a student received a broken urn of human ashes instead of an Apple charger. The USPS also somehow had a hand in this.

This is the saddest part of all:

"It's not OK and I don't wish for this to happen to anyone else. It's not an experience that anyone should experience. It's very traumatic. And I hope today when this family comes, we can both find closure for this incident," B.A. said Friday. B.A. added that she's had trouble sleeping due to the ordeal, and is seeking counseling.

I can see the family of the departed being quite upset. But the college student who received it by mistake? I agree with both of you (@Winslow and @gin1955). When I read it, I thought to myself, "TRAUMATIZED??!!! I can see 'shocked', 'surprised', 'taken aback', etc., but traumatized?!!" Must have lived a pretty sheltered life so far.

Ya know I'm expecting my MuRF back from the factory via FedEx today, but if anyone else has some dead relatives kickin' around I could use a "trauma fund." I'm feeling especially emotionally fragile at the moment, too. Fingers crossed!
