Double Bass J. Bradetich low B extension

I recently saw an interview video of Mr. B where he's playing a bass that appears to have a low B extension with what looks like some sort of sliding capo setup. Can anyone give more info on this?

If I recall correctly, he's been using a KC Strings sliding extension.
