Jack White Thanksgiving NFL Half Time Show - looks live

This looks and sounds live - pretty amazing with all the lip-syncing going on nowadays (especially after watching the awful fake Macys Parade performances). Sounded awesome and the bass was up in the mix.

I have see JW several times, including w/ The Raconteurs. He always brings it, full force. And.....I can't imagine him ever agreeing to a mimed performance. This one was def. live.

Yeah, could hear the second rapper. This was something else - either a vocal processor or backing track. Not that it really matters.

He sounded live but I thought I heard some help.from a safety track from time to time. Jack likes to throw down, a few years ago he filled in last minute on SNL and he just slammed! It was the most live musical segment I've seen on that show for a.long time.

You, or anyone else curious, should look for his interview on Dan Rather's "The Big Interview". It was really good.

I thought that was one of the best and rawest halftime performances I've heard in years, and I've never particularly cared much one way or the other about Jack White. I always have respected both him and Eminem quite a bit though. The crowd energy certainly implied an actual live performance, to whatever standard that means these days.
