I have a chance to get one of these guys - has anyone ever owned one ? or have any info on them ? I think they are MIJ - and only for a little while in the mid 90's ? Any info at all would be appreciated.

Jim

there have been 3 jppb9's for sale on ebay in the past 4 months, if you wanted to buy every one why didn't you pick one of those up?
( yes freakinded I am also an exclusive Charvel/Jackson player and have a ton of Jackson units over here )
Got a pic of that bass farva ?I was lucky enough to just stumble across a JPB-9 yesterday at tone tailors in Litiz PA. couldnt bring myself to leave the shop without it. Cant wait to play a show with it.
someone has a charvel version on reverb for like 1200 used. a bit steep, I think.I saw one recently online for sale...can't remember which site but I believe it was Music Go Round.
There mustve been something I didnt like about it though cause otherwise I would have grabbed it.
thats actually very cool! I have never seen the Charvel version! A lil steep yeah, but all the MIJ stuff from that era is climbing in pricesomeone has a charvel version on reverb for like 1200 used. a bit steep, I think.
