I have only seen one Snake Pit studio picture where the band is backing a very young kid, Stevie Wonder, and JJ is plying the black beauty in it.

Session is from spring of '63. As I had mentioned, he may have still had it... ;-) When he was doing live dates with Smokey at this time, he was using the Burst '61.
