Oh yeah, I agree 10000%, which is impossible.... so... yeah. I heard rumour that Jason's playing was too flashy for their tastes, so they turned him way down. I'd like to hear some of this supposed flashy stuff.
Related to Garage: On the Motorhead songs, they had to make Jason loud because he was being Lemmy.

Jason's distortion on Stone Dead Forever has to be the worst I've ever heard, I cringe every time.

I've always heard exactly the opposite: Jason simply doubled James' parts and was told not to change anything whenever he tried because the band was not dealing well with the emotions of being in the studio with a bassist other than Cliff. They didn't want to work with him on anything and he didn't want to push being so new to the band, so the bass got left out. This was aggrivated by the fact that Mike Clink (who produced and engineered most of Justice) hates bass in all its forms. Even after Metallica brought Flemming R. in most of the tracks had been recorded already, and they'd have had to rerecord everything to get better bass. Since everyone in the band seemed fine with how it sounded they mixed it as is.
Every member of Metallica has since said they whished they'd given Jason more room to play what he wanted and that they'd had Flemming R. producing from the begining. Had that happened I'm convinced Justice would have topped Master as the greatest Metallica album.

I didn't leave any songs out though. The FTP that they were all originally on went down a long time ago and after that Jasonizer offered to host them. But he never got the last couple and I haven't been able to get in contact with him since then. I posted them on my acidplanet account though:

I agree , Jason was a huge influence on me.
yeh definately, he's a fantastic player. His work on load and reload impressed me alot as well. If he was allowed the space on AJFA that he was allowed on Load n' Reaload (albiet that wasnt muchj, but it was enough) AJFA would have rocked.
