Jazz Bass P bass pickup

Hi everybody, I'm of course a newbie and im thinking of getting a jazz bass but I heard of people putting a jazz pickup by the bridge. Now an idea came up, would it be worth it to put a P pickup inbetween the J pickups?'

There is a bass that already has this, and with the cost of doing a professional job like this, oyu might as well get it. I think it's called the Stu Hamm Urge Bass. You could probably get a used one on the eevil-bay.
