Hi, I have a Jazz with 60' custom shop pu's in it. The tone is way too bright when I turn the tone up (very thin sounding) can you recommend a cap that would calm it down? It has a .05 in there now. Thanks

I'm not sure if I understand the question. When you turn the tone up, the cap would have no affect, in other words, full brightness. changing it will have no affect when it's full on.Hi, I have a Jazz with 60' custom shop pu's in it. From what you're describing, you may need to lower the bridge pickup and/or raise the neck pickup...and I'm not talking about turning down the volume on the bridge pickup. I mean turning the screws down to lower the height of the bridge pickup and/or raising the height of the neck pickup. That may correct your brightness problem.

Thank you. I'll give that a shot.
Pardon me if I have confused ignorance with stupidity. (on my part)
