Jazz or custom design?

I need someone to make up my mind between a cool toped jazz bass and a custom design

I chose custom, there's too many jazz styles out there claiming to be custom IMO.

My 2 cents I'd vote custom or start with a Jazz and then personalize it. I'm in th midst of such a build now and am happy I went that route.
