JB MIM and MIA pickups - do they have a difference?

Greetings!
Recently I got JB MIM loaded body and I also have almost new pickups from JB MIA 2000.
Does anyone know if pickups from MIM and MIA are the same or not?
Does it make sense to change pickups on MIM body to MIA or not?

They are not the same. I happen to like pre-custom-shop era pickups that came with AmStd basses. IMHO they have a good balanced sound. Whether or not it makes sense to replace them is up to you. If you're handy with a soldering iron just replace them and see if you like them better. If it were up to me I'd probably replace them.
