Jeff Cook . The group Alabama

He wasn't a Bassist ( but he could play Bass very well ) however with sadness another great musician and great Vocalist and Song writer Jeff Cook of the group Alabama has passed . I like to send my sincere Condolences to his Family,Friends and Fans .. I got to meet Jeff back in the late 80's when I was out there like a great deal of us trying to make a $ Buck in this crazy business of music and I will always remember the brief conversation we had about the business and in general .May he RIP

I met him once as well. Not wanting to berate someone who has recently passed, I'll leave it at that.

He did contribute to about a zillion songs and some smash hits. Those guys put out an album about every twenty minutes for a couple of decades!
