Jensen MOD15-120 vs. Eminence Legend CB158 Comparison Clips

I tried both of these speakers in the same cab, with the same bass/strings, same amp, same amp settings, all that good stuff and here's what I found. First the *****:

I'll let you know which is which once I've got some votes on the poll which is better. I want you to let me know which you prefer and why. You can feel free to guess which is which if you like, but what I'm getting at is I'd like to see which speaker you guys prefer the sound of. Thanks!

Through laptop speakers and through nice headphones, I can't tell much of a difference. They both sound okay to me.

I prefer B, but I think it's louder which influences the comparison unfairly I'd say.

I'm going to guess the Jensen is B, because it's a higher sensitivity speaker and has a scooped profile moreso than the 158. Just my guess it'll sound bottomyier in the same box (up until you get over xmax).

Could be on dope though too, medium quality speakers.

According to Jensen the MOD15-120 has a sensitivity of 96.5 dB. According to Eminence the CB158 has a sensitivity of 98 dB. But don't expect any volume difference to correlate to anything, I've maximized the volume of the clips in software (that's the only processing I've done).

I picked speaker A, as it's got a bit more upper mids and top end than speaker B and I think it would do a better job cutting through on stage.

I'm guessing A is the eminence and B is the jensen. I picked B for the jensen because it sounds more prominent in the mid bass and a little scooped.

Record them both with 100 watts input and the difference will be clear, because with only 1mm xmax the Jensen will only take about 30 watts in the lows before farting out, while the CB15 will take over 100. No surprise that, as the Jensen is a guitar driver.

Both drivers have qualities that would sound good in different contexts.
The "A" has a nice "recession" for a single note electric guitar(or other instrument) to sit inside.
The "B" has good presence.
When can the results be revealed?

I was playing drivers the equivalent to the Mod in 1970. I know exactly what they're capabilities are. I'd no sooner go back to them than would I trade my Altima for a Ford Maverick.

i like speaker A better. because on speaker B the sound of the muting is louder than the note being played.
