John Entwistle playing synthesizer bass

Me being a Who fan, I decided—why not post about John Entwistle playing synthesizer bass?
He actually plays a lot of it on his 1973 solo album, Whistle Rhymes, which also featured the late Jimmy McCulloch on lead guitar. I believe it's a Moog bass pedal.
And the synthesizer on 905 is a Prophet 5 and a Moog bass, the former of which was fairly new at the time of Who Are You's release.

But if you guys felt like enjoying this post please let me know. The Who really liked ARP Synthesizers.

Hi i have been interested in this album for years and find what you have just said very interesting wish i could get the opening chords for piano on apron strings i play bass as well and would love to know what bass guitar or bass guitar he used on this album whether it was the gibson 64 thunderbird or the frankenstein or a fenderbird he used just wondering regsrds bri

He was using the Thunderbird as far as I'm concerned. Entwistle didn't start playing Alembic until 1975.
