No I mean the Fender Stratocaster he played on the last song. It sounded so much better than the PRS.

I think the guitar sound on all songs was not good. Sounds too hollow compared to his usual sound. Maybe because of the amp or the video sound.

I think quality was a factor. The video was crunchy and the audio mix seemed really compressed. Of the two guitars though, the Fender had a much better sound.

I owned a US Silver Sky for a while. Neat guitar. They did a very nice job with the fit/finish. Unfortunately, the voicing is much warmer than a strat. IMHO, it loses the twang a strat should have. Also the neck is very Gibson-ish. That's why I sold it.

I have three non-Fender custom strats myself. They all sound a bit different. Never tried a PRS strat though. I think he has to play them because of the endorsement.

My strat is a Suhr Classic S. It's everything a strat should be. But it's not cheap. Mayer designed the PRS so I think he probably likes it. The one I had was really well made. It just didn't feel like a strat.

Dino rocked the bass, no doubt. I think he was the first bassist with the Stones.
