Wow- John has gone Dingwall- pretty much thought he was club Peavey for life.
Maybe he owns more than one bass?
I was thinking the same. Granted, artists sometimes play a different bass in the official video than in the studio, but more than a few Duran Duran videos in the 80's showed John playing Aria Pros. He also played a Kubicki in the Power Station videos.Pretty sure he has an Aria Pro II SB-1000 in a closet somewhere.
Yes, they still sound great. If they come around here sometime, we will go and see them for sure. We had tickets many years back for one of their shows that unfortunately got canceled.Damn, they sound good!
I think Dingwall is a rational next step for a player who was comfortable with a 35” scale Cirrus.Wow- John has gone Dingwall- pretty much thought he was club Peavey for life.

Yeah and its even harder to find his signature Peavey Cirrus!I remember an interview a few years back where he talked about the Peavey Cirrus basses he used. Seeing as Peavey doesn't make them any more, I'd say he needed to find something else.
And I thought he was in the SB1000 club for life lol..Wow- John has gone Dingwall- pretty much thought he was club Peavey for life.
For an appearance with that degree of visibility, John Taylor would have made an agreement to play a certain bass. Probably.Maybe he owns more than one bass?
