Double Bass jumping strings when bowing

Hi everyone,
I find it hard to jump across strings when bowing. I want to play C# on E then A on D. Or C# on E then E on G. Or E on G then C# on E. Could you please recommend some etude or method how to practice these bow jumps effectively?

I forgot to add that this should be legato. The piece I'm working on is Bach cello suite 1 prelude, about middle of the tune, there's C# played on E and then A on D and E - F# - G - E - F# - G on G. Who played it surely knows. Sorry for the inconvenient description, I'm away of the sheet now.
