Anyone familiar with this guy? I think he's Brazilian, but at least S. American I believe.

If I spent a month transcribing this performance, and then a year or two developing the chops to play it, I'd be 10 times the player I am now. Wow.

I can't believe he doesn't have more of a footprint with commercial releases. His soloing is like Pat Metheny meets Michael Brecker and he grooves like Jaco...

This is what he does now. He is an amazing bass player. Probably my favorite on the planet right now. And not because of his flashy chops. He's got the deepest pocket. That feel he has is to die for.
