Junior prom

Not only am I a bassplayer of many years, but I also have a DJ business. the first thing I say when I get called is if you want hip hop/rap/ trash metal ect I'll give you the name of 6 guys who play that. As a DJ I play the same music I play live! I may not be as busy as some, but busy enough

30 years ago when I made it to my prom we had already finished the era where the prom was part of the educational experience teaching us how to waltz and party with the upper class. It was all about the hits and for couple not having sex yet she was expected to give in on that night.

The language used in music was not that bad yet so the music was the same but we all changed out of the tuxedos and hoop gowns for the after prom party at a club which did not serve the booze for that night.

I feel for you man. Two weeks ago was my Senior Prom with my Girlfriend. The music was horrible and every "slow" dance song was country. At first (for 30 minutes) the music they played was Techno, Eurobeat and House which was pretty nice for a dance thing, I'm used to it because of Brazil, but when everyone started showing up and the Student Council members came Rap started up....

Even if there was bad music I did have a very good time with my girl. :)
