Just a curious question. What picks do you use?

I was actually right about to post these. I love em. Some people don't like that the rubber goes so far down on the pick, but I don't usually have issues with that, myself. The grippy rubber portion is just "tacky" enough to stay in my fingers, but not uncomfortably so. And the delrin pick surface gives me a great sound coming off the strings and lasts a pretty good amount of time.

One additional runner up:
The Dunlop Primetones in the standard shape, with textured grip.

But as you've heard others say, it's really just a preference thing. The more of em you try, the better idea you have of what you like in a pick.

I know people are split over the use of picks but I love them. What is your favourite? I love these Dunlop Shark Fin ones!

I like thick,inflexible picks.
Why?

There is no pick flexing,so there is no delay of motion transfer.
All the pick motion energy is transferred to the string.
The blunt, rounded tip slips easily over the string.
It's like using your index finger tip.
Moving the string only.

Top left to bottom right:
Big Stubby 3mm,Dunlop Primetone 5mm,Timbertones Agate 4.7mm picks.
SikPik D35.It's twisted!Wegen 5mm,Wegen 7mm,V-Pick Big Fattie 5.85mm.

Tortex 0.88 for me too.
I tried thicker ones, you have more precision, but less clank.
I used 0.73 for a short time, they sounded even better, but are so flabby I found them too difficult to use.

I don't use picks a lot for bass but when I do it has always been medium to thick Dunlop Tortex. Just an old habit from my metal days really. But I recently tried Dunlop Nylons and was very pleasantly surprised. More of a 60s vibe. Softer, squishier attack, more tic-tac than grinding. I've always considered the nylons more of a guitar pick but I was surprised how much I liked them. Different tools for different jobs I suppose.

For several years now I've been using a Fender 351 Medium celluloid pick. I use them Bobby Vega style, with the two blunt ends instead of the sharp end so it doesn't clack, gliding over the strings instead. Smooth and quiet, works well for me.
I learned that trick of using the rounded corners than the pointy one from Julie Slick, who uses a similar kind of pick (but D'Addario rather than Fender). That changed everything for me; I can hardly play with the point anymore.
