Double Bass Just a little question about amps (gallien krueger)

Hey guys!
yesterday my very old amp started to make some trouble while i was playing in a gig, so in that moment i've decided i'm gonna buy a new one tomorrow.
So i've have been thinking about getting the GK ms-150s, mainly because i saw this one with so many great double bass players (and i love their sound they are getting from their amp as well), and i hear so many good things about this one.
buut! , i've never tried this model with my own bass, and from what i saw GK have like many other and newer and cheeper bass combo amps.
So my question is if any one can recommend about any other GK model that i should check out?
Or if someone have any good (or bad, but lets hope that not :) ) experience with the ms-150s....
Cheers:thumbsup:

I've owned and used a GK MB-150S for several years. It works well for what I use it for. It's simple, compact and is plug and play. The newer generation of GK amps sound quite different. I've owned a GK MB200, MB500 and an MB112. They are gone now, but I still have my MB-150S. There are lots of other choices in amps for DB these days, but the MB-150S could be a good choice if you are looking for a small amp for low-medium volume situations, which is what I use mine for.
