Funny! I had all mine taken out when I was 16yr old. It was day before xmas eve. After the procedure my parents gave me my xmas gift - a washburn bass (my first)!!!
OUCH!! That's gotta hurt like hell.......
getting a washburn I mean, not your teeth.

I'll be in your shoes in about a week.
I've felt better.![]()
I've been putting this off. I need to have one taken out and I'm chicken!

Honestly, it's not all that bad. Yesterday was a little rough, but by the end of the evening I was feeling almost back to normal. They gave me some Oxycodone, which makes my head feel a little bit fuzzy, but at least I'm not in any pain. The whole "liquid diet" thing sucks, but at least it's only for a day or two. I might try some Macaroni and Cheese tonight since that's nice and mushy.
While it is inconvenient for a few days, getting a wisdom tooth yanked when it's recommended is probably a good idea. If you put it off for TOO long and things get out of hand, you'll be in a much worse spot when they have to do things to fix what went wrong rather than if you had just gotten it done in the first place.
