After 16 years of playing guitar, i'm making the move to play bass a bit more. Not giving up guitar, but the guy i play with most is moving from bass to drums and i'm going from guitar to bass with the hopes that as a rhythm section it'll be easier tonfind guitarists to jam with than trying to find a drummer has been.
I've had a Ibanez Gio bass i got used for cheap for a couple years now and today just upgraded my 20 watt Rogue amp to an Ampeg BA115v2. Will eventually uprade my bass too, but just doing the amp for now to get to where we can practice together.
I've been a member of TDPRI for severa years and have learned a lot from them and off GearPage, and looking forward to seeing what i can pickup from TalkBass now!
