Just need isolated drums

Use Garage Band on your iPad to create drum tracks for any song. It takes some time but then you’ll have a realistic sounding drum track that can be tempo adjusted. I record the bass part to a click first and then use one of the “smart drummers”. The drum can be set to follow the bass part and will create a part that matches.

As already suggested multiple times

MOISES

Hands down the easiest way to do this. they have a web interface and have an app for iOS. You upload the MP3, it splits it into the number of tracks you select and then you can independently control those from your iPad, phone or computer.

We have used this on more than one occasion (with two different bands that I’m in) where the drummer could not show up for rehearsal. from my iPad, I play a count in with a Click and the drums isolated into our PA along with the rest of the band to rehearse.

If you intend to use this as a learning tool to transpose cover tunes, this is probably the easiest way to do it and play along. You can isolate any instrument or mute them and play along. It also maps out all of the chords while playing.

I've used that and it's pretty convenient. However I've just checked out Moises after seeing so many recommendations here... whoa! That thing is good!
I listened to the demo, and sure, I thought they probably picked a song that was easy to separate instruments from... but I've tried with a couple of other songs that I have in my computer... it works beautifully!

You can change keys etc, this is an amazing tool. Thanks to everybody who mentioned Moises in this thread :)

You could use Logic Pro and Main Stage to record, and then play back live, drum tracks. Actually, any track you wanted - horns, strings, keys, whatever. Anything you want. But there'd be some expense involved.

I’ve provided a bunch of feedback (flight test for beta) and did a focus group user interview… they’re working on a band subscription too, where one person can manage all of the songs and share with other band members. That’s ideal if you cover a ton of tunes. I have a catalog of over 100 songs across 2 bands and would be great to share.

You can also change key if needed, helpful if vocalists are working on tunes in different key.
