Just ordered a new bass

For about a week, I owned a black 1967 Starfire with the single pickup up at the neck.
FedEx delivery guy decided it was too much trouble to deliver my bass today. He entered that I was unavailable for delivery in the system, even though I was at home the entire time. There was no notice on my door, either. Customer service wanted me to wait until Wednesday for delivery. I said, "No, I don't want to wait until Wednesday. Find a way to get it here today!" I'm waiting to hear from the local Fedex office.

Nothing yet. I'll probably have to arrange to pick it up at the local Fedex office in Nogales.

I feel your pain my local Fedex guy decided they wasn't a car in the driveway that he wasn't going to knock. Had my niece hanging out as the little woman works normal hours and I'm a second shifter. I was furious to say the least. The knucklehead that I spoke with on the phone was less than helpful. Added another day of waiting over his slack performance at his job. Hope you get the Guild ASAP.
It won't do any good, but I emailed a complaint to FedEx about the poor delivery service. I also paid the $5 to have the bass delivered between 5pm and 8pm when I am home from work. I'm going to forget about the bass until after tomorrow's BBQ at my cousin's house.

Well, that can't be the one that is still hanging at my local SA. Plus, yours looks like it has gold hardware on it. Congrats!
