Just ordered a Powder Coating Rig

Well, it works great, and is very easy to use.

I've been building myself a strat for a while, and I powdered the original trem black (from chrome). I did the tuners also, but turns out there was glue holding the buttons on the shaft that didn't like 400 degrees! I will try and get a pic up, I actually have another of the original bridge that I can photo to show how it turned out. I'm liking this machine so far.

Cool! The Eastwood catalog is sick! It makes me wish I had a much bigger garage.

There've been a number of times when I wished I could have something powder coated--or usually, re-coated--because spray painting wouldn't quite do the job.

Gotta love Eastwood. They have a great forum on their site also. Very helpful guys/gals.

The finish on this guitar trem is just about the same as the finish on my Quan BAII. I may do the tuners on my Harris to match, as I can't seem to justify paying for new black tuners. Too bad your in Cali, I'd help ya out

yeah it would be cool, I can picture it now at a gig:

"ok guys, were going to be playing for whom the bell tolls, so everyone turn the gain up. Joe? make sure your intro is extra loud"

"ok"

"whats that?" *guitarist points at large glowing green pedal with lots of LEDs*

"oh thats just my distortion pedal"


You could have all your pedals in differnt glowing colours, so you have colour coding, like green for fuzz, blue for wah, yellow for compressor

How'd you know I like LED's

And thanks to BYOC, I've started making my own, so I can do whatever color I like I have the powder to do my new Ross compressor clone in chrome

Finally got around to PC'ing the tuners on my Steve Harris P. Man, black looks so much better than chrome did, imo. Now to just wipe the fingerprints off...
