everyone have to start somewhere, i started with Behringer but didnt like effects until i bought some nicer once... but the behringer gave me ideas how to use them.

I'm not going to say anything negative about their effects because I haven't had any experience with them, but buy a used or at least better tuner. If you aren't in tune, the effects can't help you.
Some of the Behringer effects are modeled after high dollar pedals. The downfall is the cheap enclosures, but they need to do something to get them out the door cheap. Some of them are worth buying and re-housing in a metal box with a better switch.
