I only just found out that NoTreble was created b/c we're all such hateful trolls here at TB - in fact (and I was shocked to read this since I'm a died n the wool lefty, gun-hating commie) that we're all short-sighted right-wing neo-con gun lobbyists!
I don't actually have a problem with NoTreble - like I said - just discovered they exist as an alternative to the bunch of haters that is TB.

NT has been around for years, created for its own unrelated purposes. The thread there from the other day complaining about TB was started by one of a few well regarded members of our own community here who dramatically rage-quit in light of a few awkwardly disseminated moderator decisions.

That I am aware of, oddly, I found out about their being the anti-TB just shortly before that thread referencing their thread popped up (though I can't recall how now). Clearly that new rage-quit thread is new, but apparently the sentiment (among some obviously, not all) is not.
Perhaps the impression it was started for that is wrong, but that was what I read - and was the impression of the person writing on NT.

Like I say, I honestly hold nothing against them, I just find it funny that people who get so mad they can't get along with a whole large community like TB tend towards blaming the group they leave.
