...and the first one's on Wednesday.

I hope this is as helpful as I've told myself it will be. When I called to talk to the instructor, I told him that I wanted to learn theory, technique, and wanted to be able to sit down with anybody and play any style asked of me. He didn't pause, said that wasn't gonna be a problem.

So here goes nothing, I guess.

I'm working on it, once upon a time I could read treble clef like a fiend; but no more. That's another thing I told the instructor that I want to do.

This is partially your fault, Ben. ;) Our conversations, enlightening and as much a learning experience as they have been, have shown me that the only way I'm actually going to work at getting better is if I've got somebody standing over my shoulder and showing me things.

    Cause I'm, you know, lazy.
