Just sold my J

I bought a new 2011 Am Std. J about 2 yrs ago. Played it and loved it for a while. Beautiful sunburst. The real deal. But I just didn't need it. Plus it is a little on the heavy side. Sold it off ebay today and took about a $300.00 hit from purchase price after fees. Oh well. Now I'm loving my new Honey Burst Satin Series P. Very light and sounds great with flats or rounds. Still have a Franken PJ that I can get my J tones from.

Yes.. the franken PJ.... I have one of those too... love J pickups but want a 1.626" C neck....... wish more companies would get on this....

Glad you like yours! Mine (FSR) is super light at a touch over 8 pounds. Nice neck too. The tone with TI flats is not bowling me over though. Have you found the magic strings to make these babies sing?

I strung mine with .45-.105 Chromes, and it sounds awesome. I may up the G to a .50, but maybe not.

Not a p bass guy myself but if you ever regret selling you jazz bass at least it wouldn't be hard to acquire another. They're a dime a dozen.
