Double Bass K&K Bass Bass Max Question

It's simple -- buy your Canadian products (Radial Engineering, Traynor, Schatten Design) from us! :smug:

Mark: Nice play sir.
But at 30+ cents exchange on the US dollar these days...I'm afraid I will have to call Lester. Also, Traynor's plant is about 45 minutes from where I live and I already have a Yorkville(Traynor) amp for my P Bass. As far as Radial goes...I think you already took all of my pre-amp money a few years back. :D
However my string experiments know no bounds......so you have me locked in there.

No worries anyway, I've bought well over $1k of stuff from Mr. Gollihur's business over the years!

Every sale - from a $6 endpin cap, to a $1000 amp - is equally valued. Thanks to all of you who continue to shop with us!

Glad the bass was okay, lemarglieu -- were you able to get the Bass Max sounding better? Let me know, I can forward you our Bass Max tip sheet, which goes above and beyond the instructions provided by K&K, to help you "dial it in." Just email me, or send me a PM with your email address.

Thanks - it IS sounding better. I know you recommended a wood shim, which is what I have used for years (happily), but I currently have felt in it and it is sounding great. I think the new strings brought out an electricky tone that the felt is mitigating, but I might try switching back just to see. I was playing amplified last night and was quite pleased with my tone.
